TBR slog & random GW2 thoughts

Here are the current titles languishing in my TBR pile:
Chameleon Moon...is not really my thing. Like, I can't get over the (unintentionally?) omniscient POV, and a lot of it feels like "Random Things Are Happening, Wheee." Like...yay rep? But I just can't get into the book.
GW2
It's been several months since PoF's release, and I'm actually feeling less interested in the game than ever.
Like...Living World Season 3 was fine, but I'm really tired of them continuing that format because now every. Single. Thing. Feels like a grind. And I used to be okay with the grinds because they felt doable—like, farm Winterberries for a week to get what you want, then peace out of Bitterfrost Frontier. Now they're making the new zones more complicated, and I'm just like...no. I don't have the motivation to keep doing this anymore.
I was even motivated to farm Black Lion Keys when they introduced the statuettes, but then I saw that they put up the Zephyr Wings glider for 60 statuettes and I was like...no. 25 statuettes felt doable, but 60? No way. That would literally take more than a year to farm.
(I will only go back to farming statuettes if they put up the Bubble or Exalted glider for 25 statuettes or less.)
I've mentioned the lack of replayability for PoF being a turn-off (heck, I grinded the HoT story on alts just for the Exalted weapons and the Black Lion Key awarded after "Roots of Terror," but there's nothing like that for PoF's story).
I also have to admit that the mount adoption licenses kind of soured me on GW2. Heck, at least making players able to choose what *kind* of mount skin they want would've been better. I genuinely love the Wintersday mount skins, but I don't want to buy them because I feel like I would be contributing to the horrible mindset that allowed Arenanet to do this in the first place.
