Wordcount left to rewrite: 5k
Right now, I have about 5k words left to rewrite before I'm back up to my original word count.
I kind of suspect, though, that once I'm done rewriting, the wordcount will be longer than the previous draft.
Which is fine, honestly. If I can't find an agent, there's a publisher I can submit to that takes unagented subs, but the minimum wordcount for the imprint this novel would best fit under is 70k, and my previous draft was 65k.
