Unspoken rambings
I am in shock at Unspoken's ending.
This does not compute.
No. No, you do not spend your entire life getting to know someone and then just drop it all as soon as you lose your hotline into their thoughts. How the HELL could Jared just walk away from Kami, after everything we've seen from him and their relationship? I can understand broken, traumatized characters. I can understand experiences that would make someone desperately cling to the other source of friendship they could find. I do NOT understand how that can disappear.
Some non-spoilery impressions:
- Some of the witticisms were really great, but after a while I felt a bit of overload. Everyone was so snarky all the time that it burned me out and prevented me from laughing as much as I probably would've.
- Can I just say Lillian Lynburn is an awesome character? She is an awesome character.
