Novel #4: 45k / 60k words (?)
I managed to hit 45k words this weekend. No idea how!
I think I've hit the point in my draft at which I have to start drafting chronologically and filling in the remaining holes. I mean, there are still some aspects of the mystery that I'm ??? about (cue me lying on the ground in agony, feeling like I can never write a compelling enough mystery...), but there's always a point in my drafting process when I have to start slogging through the remainder of the book just to get a coherent draft that I can edit later.
Good thing I have a 5.5-day long weekend coming up thanks to Christmas! (*sobs*)
