I really do think people should lighten up about some things. There's so much misplaced nationalism and people getting fired up over the wrong things. Sometimes I'm stunned by how strongly people react when someone makes a politically incorrect comment about another culture out of pure ignorance rather than malice.
I got into languages after watching the "Which Hetalia characters speak their mother tongue?" videos. :'D That's another thing I love--the fanbase is amazingly creative and goes to such lengths out of devotion to the series.
