Scandal (ABC) - Impressions
Eh.
I wanted to like this show, but it just seems kind of bleh. Olivia Pope is great, but every other secondary character seems rather two-dimensional. (How many womanizers are in this show? How many??) And romantic angst/"forbidden love"? Come on. I am sick to death of this trope.
I understand that Pope's team aren't exactly crime-solving detectives, but it's incredibly unsatisfying to leave off without a resolution as to who killed that girl.
I might stick with this show because (1) it only has 7 episodes for season 1, (2) OUAT has disappeared from my life until April 22 D: and (3) maybe, maybe the show will get better. But I don't have high hopes at the moment.
