rainwatersparkOne thing I have to complain about college is that the walls in the dorm are not soundproof at all (or maybe it's just my building?).
So...I just found out today, after asking someone, that whatever I say in my room when talking to my parents on the phone/webcam can be heard by everyone. That made me upset--not because I was blaming anyone, but because I was freaking out and going "FFFFFFFFF EVERYONE HEARD MY PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS FOR THE PAST MONTH ARGHHHHHHH"
Because you kind of expect, when you close all the windows and the door to your room, that whatever you say is going to stay in there, you know?
Now, I'm kind of grateful that the guy told me, which meant he was concerned on some level, but at the same time, I was thinking, "He had an entire month to spare my disgrace, and he only did so now after I asked him specifically, meaning he doesn't quite care enough..."
