rainwatersparkFinally decided to download this doujin from the Hetalia comm (I've been a little scared of downloading things since coming to college, but oh well), and read it, and...
Oh. My. God.
I can't believe how original it is. The ideas, though they probably don't make as much sense historically, weave together to form an amazing story. Britannia for the win! (He reminds me of an author's note I read from a fanfic: "Nations don't build empires by being shy, retiring weaklings." XD)
Admittedly it gets a bit bizarre towards the end--I know England was in bad shape after WWII, but was he really that badly mauled? Still, in my opinion this doujin is all sorts of awesome (Canada gets a leading role, too!).
Okay, I'll stop blabbering now. And by the way...
