It occurred to me that a book about how terrible it is to live without love is incredibly stigmatizing toward aromantic people.
Also, this book conflates romantic and sexual attraction, which is incredibly annoying because they're not the same thing. Does the lobotomy process get rid of both, or only romantic attraction? If the latter, wouldn't sexual attraction still be an issue?
