SMG & SMG2 Retrospective

I know when I wrote a review of Super Mario Galaxy 2, at the time I considered it less "magical" than SMG1. Playing a few galaxies from both back to back, however, I've found that my opinion has changed a little. There are still levels from SMG1 that I absolutely love (i.e. Sweet Sweet Galaxy and wall-jumping up waterfalls with the Ice Flower in Beach Bowl Galaxy), and there are a few levels from SMG2 that are rather disappointing (Battle Belt Galaxy and Boss Blitz Galaxy, I'm looking at you!), but now I feel that overall SMG2 is more innovative and features richer levels. Somehow, playing Gusty Garden in SMG1 now just doesn't have the same charm, but I didn't have the same weariness at all when replaying Cloudy Court Galaxy in SMG2.
