Impressions of E3 2011

It looks like I'll be importing Xenoblade from Europe after all.
I'm still holding on to a shred of hope that it'll be announced on the showfloor or something, but Nintendo's E3 conference was really bland this year. Only one Wii title was discussed (Skyward Sword, and they didn't even show a proper trailer for it); the rest of the time was spent discussing the 3DS and Wii U. I'm not even thinking of buying a 3DS until some killer software comes out and there's a price drop, and Wii U...well, I'm glad that third-party support seems to be reviving (never thought I'd see the likes of Darksiders and Batman Arkham City on a Nintendo console), and an Assassin's Creed game might make me pick it up in the future (*might*), but otherwise I'm not very enthusiastic about it.
