Here's what I'm thinking at the moment.
- Revise RF lightly, and engage in a more extensive beta-editing process. Frankly, at this moment I'm looking for ideas as to how to flesh out the world and convey the story, and I'm finding that I'm running out of ideas myself.
- Put aside EK I for the moment, and begin EK II. I might read over EK I once before starting EK II. I think I've reached the point at which I need a break from editing EK I, because my brain is getting saturated, and I really just want to finish writing the entire story. I think EK I has vaguely achieved its purpose, story-wise, and that most of the editing still needed is to make sure the plot makes sense, flesh out some of the minor characters, and deepen the protagonist's inner journey.
