Loki: Agent of Asgard #3

So this issue felt like kind of a filler/setup issue, since most of it was about Sigurd, old!Loki, and Odin. Not terribly exciting. I am looking forward to Sigurd meeting up with Loki, though, and I loved the "I killed a fish with a bazooka" line. XD

Earth 2 #22

Another sort of breather issue. Glad to see that Green Lantern's still alive and kicking (hopefully he'll join the rest of the gang soon), and the scenes between Val and Lois are cute.

Green Arrow #30


Oops, Oliver's dad's dead!

I did really like the part in which Oliver insisted that he learned to become Green Arrow because of his mom, not his dad. It felt very fresh, very anti-grimdark, and very bittersweet.


Detective Comics #30

+1 for the introduction of two new WoC characters! +1 for Francis Manapul's gorgeous art! -1 for one of the new WoCs dying at the end. D:

Justice League 3000 #5

Still not entirely sure what's happening in this series (also, the art this time was kind of horrible). But I thought it was hilarious how Barry's so jaded ("If I die again, please don't resurrect me this time"), and I know nothing about Firestorm, but he seems like a hoot.

Batman Eternal #1

Wow, this series seems HELLA grimdark. I suppose I'll keep following out of curiosity, but I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy it.

Moon Knight #2

Pretty art, once again, but this standalone issue felt pretty darn random.
