Random GW2 ramblings
Dec. 26th, 2014 07:34 amI figured out that I might be making money the inefficient way. Usually I sell my rares, but if I salvaged them for Ectos, I'd probably get more money. The problem is I hate taking risks, and there's always a risk that I won't end up with any Ectos (much less 3 of them) if I salvaged my rares, so...eh, I might continue sticking to the safe side.
I feel a bit silly about the fact that I keep spending money on minipets even though probably 50% of the time I'll have Tequatl equipped and the other 50% of the time I'll have the Plush Griffon. (Or my elementalist might have the fire/ice elemental instead.) Not that I don't like the other minipets, but IMHO these two are clearly superior. The thing is, I have collecting tendencies, so even though I've given up on the idea of trying to amass all the minipets, I still have this compulsion to keep buying more from time to time, just so I can look at them in my wardrobe.
