Writer pains
Sep. 19th, 2016 11:30 amEvery time I think "Okay, THIS week I'll start searching for agents to query," I think of yet another thing in my story to fix.
Sigh.
Now, I'm pretty sure I'm fixing the last major(ish) thing in my story—although I said that last week, too, and now look where we are.
In any case, my new deadline for myself is to finish all major edits by the end of this month, and then seriously get cracking on querying in October. I have to avoid the NaNoWriMo rush, so October-November (?) is basically my last hope. Preferably, I'd hope to get querying done in early October, because I need to spend the latter part of October coming up with a topic for and then starting to work on my 25-page research paper this semester. (*sob*)
