Random Roman Mythology Things!

rainwaterspark- Ceres: goddess of agriculture, fertility, and laws. (I find the laws part most interesting.)
- It's hard to say what the Roman equivalent of Hades is. Pluto is actually a Greek name for Hades; the Roman equivalent was Dis Pater or Orcus. Eventually, all three were conflated into a god of the underworld plus wealth.
- Neptune: god of the sea, but also of fresh water (since the Romans weren't big on sailing and things like that).
- Mars: god of war and agricultural guardian. Represented war as a way to secure peace.
