Eeeeeeeeeeeeee
Just want to gush ove Once Upon a Time's latest episode.
I didn't think it was possible for them to make Kathryn/Abigail likable, but they did. Brilliantly. At first, she was annoying because she was in the way of Mary Margaret/David's relationship on the one hand, and because she seemed like a haughty royal brat on the other.
But this episode revealed that Abigail had hidden depths (and an awesome outfit and hat, I must say), and Kathryn is just as much affected by the curse as everyone else--it's trapping her in a loveless marriage with David. By the time she makes her decision to set out for Boston on her own, I was totally cheering for her, even though she was obviously not going to make it out of Storybrooke. And now I'm really worried about what happened to her at the end of the episode.
This episode also served to make me hate Regina even more (as though I needed another reason). She's making all three of them--Mary Margaret, David, and Kathryn--suffer, and it's heartbreaking to see how much Kathryn believes her to be a good friend. Clearly, the Evil Queen has some tragic story, but it's obvious that past tragedy does not justify setting out to ruin everyone else's happiness.
By the way, considering Abigail managed to plant spies in King George's cour and save James/Charming's sorry behind, I'd say she's yet another badass female character in the story.
