Random nitpicks about random things

TMNT-related.
- The 2007 movie: What I'll never understand is...why the hell does Leo never realize right away that Nightwatcher is Raphael? Casey Jones figured it out, Casey, the guy who's generally not presented as the sharpest tack in the box, but points out (correctly) that Nightwatcher looks like "a big, metal turtle." So why doesn't this occur to Leo? Not even mentioning the fact that he should've been familiar enough with Raph's combat style to recognize it when they start fighting, even if Raph wasn't using his sais. Not even mentioning the fact that Raph explicitly defended Nightwatcher's actions in front of Leo. Jeez, it's like Leo lost some brain cells back in the jungle or something.
- 2012 series, ep. 7 "Monkey Brains," the whole "fighting without thinking" schtick. Okay, so I'm not exactly a martial arts expert, but I'm under the impression that you can never attack without intent, and intent equals thinking. You might *react* without thinking (which is what Mikey does in the opening sequence anyways), but you can't *act* without thinking, by definition.
- I don't know why, but I feel like making a list of the 2003 animation goofs that I've seen so far.
- S1E01 "Things Change": Near the beginning, Leo's strap for his katana sheaths is on the wrong shoulder. Right after they rescue Raph, Leo is missing the strap for his katana sheaths. Don's workbag mysteriously disappears once they start fighting the Purple Dragons and later, the Foot. Also, his workbag mysteriously disappears in one shot when the Turtles are riding in the armored van.
- S1E02 "A Better Mousetrap": When the Turtles are following the Mouser, in one shot, Leo is missing his strap for his katana sheaths.
- S1E06 "Darkness on the Edge of Town": In one shot near the beginning, the tray that Splinter places on a table momentarily disappears. Also, in one shot, Leo is missing the strap for his katana sheaths. In another shot, Don is missing his workbag, even though he's shown wearing it immediately before and after. Finally, both Don and Splinter can wear a five-fingered gauntlet, despite the fact that they only have three and four fingers, respectively.
- S1E13 "Notes from the Underground, Part 1": In one shot, Raph's headband is colored orange, making it appear as though there are two Mikeys.
- S1E17 "The Shredder Strikes Back, Part 1": In one shot, Splinter is shown holding a newspaper with four fingers on each hand, even though he only has three fingers (plus a thumb). Towards the end of the episode, the clock in April's house shows two different times in near-consecutive shots.
- S1E22 & S1E23 "Return to New York": Somehow, Leo and Splinter can wear a gauntlet with five fingers.
- S2E01 "Turtles in Space, Part 1": When the Turtles are against the sewer-cleaning robot, Leo is missing the strap for his katana sheaths in a few shots. After they defeat the robot, Don is missing his workbag.
- S2E02 "Turtles in Space, Part 2": Near the beginning, Don is briefly missing his workbag. When the Turtles are discovered in the sleazy pub, as Leo is taking off his disguise, the strap for his katana sheaths is missing. During the space vehicle chase, in one shot, Leo is shown sitting next to Don even though Raph is supposed to be sitting next to Don.
- S2E04 "Turtles in Space, Part 4": In one brief shot as the Turtles are being sent to the Arena, they appear to already have their weapons before Traximus gives them to them.
- S2E12 "What a Croc": Several related to the fight with the Turtle Bot. There's a brief shot of Turtle Bot holding a golden staff after he defeated Don, even though he's supposed to be holding Don's staff (and throws away Don's staff in the next shot). Also, when Turtle bot kicks Raph and throws the sais to pin him to the wall, it shows him throwing golden sais, but he should have been throwing Raph's sais.
- S2E14 "City at War, Part 1": A number of the fighting scenes are recycled from S1E11 "The Shredder Strikes, Part 2." A goof happens when one of the recycled scenes includes Mikey, and you can clearly see the "bandage" around his foot from "The Shredder Strikes."
- S2E17 "Junklantis": When Don and Mikey are talking to the Garbageman, he drops them down with his metal pincers and the Turtles switch places. When Don and Mikey dress up as "junk troopers," Mikey's headband very briefly flashes purple before he puts on the helmet/headgear. Also, the "junk trooper" gloves are normally five-fingered but somehow become three-fingered when the Turtles wear them.
- S2E21 "April's Artifact": When Raph and Don are carried away by the giant bug, there's a brief shot in which their belt knots are colored the same as their headbands, even though their belts are otherwise always brown.
- S3E10 "H.A.T.E.": Towards the end of the episode, Donnie and Raph are missing their belts.
- S3E17 "Time Travails": Renet's legwear is colored incorrectly when she's initially talking to the Turtles.
- S4E09 "Aliens Among Us": During the fight with the aliens, Mikey's mouth starts moving before he talks.
- S4E14 "The Ancient One": Near the beginning, there's one brief shot of Don with his workbag, but it doesn't appear in the rest of the scene.
