rainwatersparkRecently I've been dealing with a massive writer's block, and also I've been having a lot of trouble with my other blog, RS, so I've been thinking about what sorts of things to post here, as I'd like to blog a bit more frequently and more systematically (not just random fansquee posts, though of course those will probably stick around).
- I'll look back over Throne of Glass and see if I can continue my deconstruction, since heck, I'm kind of close to done with the book and leaving things hanging bothers me a bit. But of course, it might be that just looking at the book makes me ragequit again.
- I'll start posting a deconstruction of Shadow and Bone, another YA fantasy book that infuriated me with its terrible worldbuilding and horrible treatment of female characters.
- I think I'll try posting reviews of comics, though I'm not sure whether I'll have anything important to say or whether I'll just be like "this was great!" "This was meh."
- I'll also try writing more articles about feminist/intersectional issues related to pop culture.
