Writing status update

rainwatersparkI don't think I'm going to get much drafting done this weekend. I spent the past week adding a little bit to the draft some days and rewriting the first chapter (so my wordcount stayed the same), but I lost yesterday to running errands all day and have been having trouble recovering my momentum.
On the plus side, I've been doing some history reading that has helped me out a lot with fleshing out my world (as well as coming up with ideas for the sequel, haha). Even if I can't get any drafting done today, I think I can work on the outline, which should also be helpful. I've taken most of the coming week off from work, so maybe I'll be able to get a bunch of drafting done then?
